A confidential, supportive space where you can breathe, speak freely, and feel heard.
I am a qualified counsellor because I believe deeply in the power of being heard. So many people move through life carrying worries, fears, and experiences that they’ve never had the space to express. I create a safe, non judgmental environment where someone can finally breathe, open up, and feel understood is something that genuinely drives me.
Helping individuals better understand themselves, gain confidence, and discover healthy coping mechanisms for obstacles is what inspires me. Counselling is about supporting someone while they find their own answers, not about providing them. I feel great satisfaction in being a part of that journey, even in tiny ways.
I’m also inspired by the idea of supporting people through change. Growth isn’t always comfortable, and life doesn’t always offer clear answers. Counselling gives people the tools to navigate those moments with more clarity and confidence. Being part of that process — not by giving solutions, but by helping someone discover their own — is something I find incredibly meaningful.
Ultimately, I became a counsellor because I care about people’s wellbeing. I want to help others feel less alone, more understood, and more empowered to shape the life they want. Being a counsellor feels like a way to turn my instinct into something purposeful — something that can genuinely help people move forward in their lives.
I can help individuals with a range of issues including but not limited to:
Domestic abuse
Bereavement
Suicidal thoughts
Self harming and depression
Hearing voices
Menopause
Low self esteem
Trauma

My practice is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing from person centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapies. This allows me to tailor sessions to each individual, recognising that every person’s story is unique and deserves a flexible, responsive therapeutic space.
At the heart of my work is a belief in each person’s capacity for growth, healing, and change. I offer a warm, collaborative environment where clients can explore their inner world, make sense of their experiences, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Alongside my counselling training, I bring extensive experience working within the NHS as a support worker in a mental health team, supporting individuals with a wide range of complex mental health needs. This included working with people experiencing severe and enduring difficulties, navigating crisis situations, and supporting clients through periods of instability and uncertainty.
This frontline experience deepened my understanding of how complex mental health challenges can affect daily life, relationships, identity, and wellbeing. It also strengthened my ability to remain grounded, compassionate, and steady in moments when clients feel overwhelmed or unsure of what they need. These qualities shape the therapeutic presence I bring into the counselling room.
I also volunteer for a men's mental and emotional wellbeing (community of interest) organisation in addition to my own practice. I have a strong desire to help in removing barriers that prevent men from seeking support when they need it for their mental health.

This forms the foundation of my work. I prioritise empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, creating a safe and trusting relationship where clients feel genuinely heard and understood.

I support clients in exploring how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing their present day emotions and behaviours. Understanding these deeper layers can open the door to meaningful, lasting change.

Alongside deeper exploration, I offer practical tools to help clients manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. CBT techniques can support clients in challenging unhelpful thinking patterns and developing healthier coping strategies.
“Beneath every behaviour there is a feeling, and beneath each feeling is a need, and when we meet that need rather than focus on the behaviour, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom.”
— Ashleigh Warner
My aim is to help clients connect their past, present, and future—understanding where patterns come from, how they show up now, and how they can be changed. By integrating these therapeutic approaches with my experience supporting people with complex mental health needs in the NHS, I offer a space that is both compassionate and robust, helping clients build insight, resilience, and a more grounded, fulfilling way of living.
I believe that a therapeutic connection is one of the most important parts of counselling. This initial consultation gives you space to get a sense of my approach, ask any questions, and decide whether you feel comfortable moving forward.
